You know, falls this big would doubtless make it hard to hear oneself think- But even with that in mind, the image retains a wonderful visual quiet about it, too. Lovely balance, a kind I try for, myself- Often less successfully :)

Hi Mark,
Funny you should bring this up, I almost named that entry 'Quiet Evening' but decide against it when I realised the spot would be about as quiet as an airport runway in holliday traffic.Yet...moving water, just like dancing fire, holds a hypnotic fascination to us and seems to have such a powerful soothing effect that it translate even to a still representation.
I'll beg to differ though, I think that most of your work and especially one of your last entries 'Waystation' exhibits a serenity and a contemplative quality I can only admire.
